This November marks one year since The W Gallery opened its doors in our new Rocky River home. With that anniversary and the holiday season beginning, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate and reintroduce myself.
I’m Margeaux, the person behind the counter, the artist at the studio bench, and the one bringing together the pieces you find here. I’m a jeweler, a small business owner, and, most importantly, mom to two little ones.
There’s so much to celebrate in this first year. There’s also been a lot happening behind the scenes.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve navigated a divorce, found my footing as a single mom, and worked through a serious hand injury all while pouring my heart into this shop and its new chapter.
As a one-person business, those challenges sometimes meant unexpected closures. I know some of you made a trip only to find the door locked, and I’m sorry for that disappointment. Your time and support mean a great deal to me, and I’m grateful for the patience and kindness you’ve shown.
Things are beginning to feel steadier, and it feels good to look ahead with a little more breathing room and a lot of hope.
When I look back on this first year in Rocky River, what stays with me most is the people. Every visit, every piece chosen, every custom design entrusted to me. Every recommendation to a friend, kind message, and “just stopping in to say hello.” You’ve helped make this new space feel like home.
That’s what I want to celebrate this November: a year of making, of finding our place here, and of being part of the moments that matter to you.
With the holidays approaching, I’m looking forward to helping you find something meaningful—whether it’s a gift for someone you love, a custom piece you’ve been dreaming about, or a little something to mark your own new chapter. Being part of those stories is one of my favorite things about what I do.
If you’re new here: Hi, and welcome.
And if you’ve been here for a while: thank you for sticking with me.
There’s a lot of heart behind this little shop. Thank you for helping give it a home in Rocky River, and for being part of what comes next.
With love and gratitude,
Margeaux
