Handmade Custom Jewelry

You might know exactly what you want or just know how you want it to feel.

Maybe you’re drawn to clean lines, unexpected details, a favorite color, or something a little outside the ordinary. Custom design starts with those preferences and the person who will wear it.

We’ll talk through what’s possible and help shape those ideas into a piece made just for you.

What Would You LIke To Create?

An engagement ring with your point of view. A meaningful gift. A celebration of something you’ve accomplished. A piece you’ll reach for every day.

Custom jewelry begins with a reason, even if the design hasn’t taken shape yet. Tell us what you have in mind, what you’d like it to mean, and the details that matter to you.

Have a few inspiration photos? Bring them along. Still exploring? That’s a starting point, too.

CUSTOM JEWELRY FAQs

What does custom jewelry cost?

The cost depends on the design, materials, gemstones, and work involved in creating your piece. Sharing a budget early helps us explore options that make sense for you. We’ll discuss pricing before you decide to move forward. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to begin the conversation.

How long does a project take?

Custom jewelry takes time to design and make, and the timeline varies with the complexity of the piece and availability of materials. If you’re planning a proposal, gift, or special occasion, reach out as early as possible. Tell us your preferred date so we can discuss what’s realistic and outline an estimated timeline for your project.

What is the difference between your custom and personalized jewelry?

Personalized jewelry starts with an existing design that you make your own through options such as names, initials, dates, photos, or a short message. You choose a piece you love, then add the details that give it meaning.

Custom jewelry involves developing a design around your ideas. The conversation may include the piece’s shape, materials, gemstones, and other details that influence how it looks and feels.

If you’re looking to add a personal touch to an existing style, explore our personalized jewelry collection. If you have a design in mind or want help developing one, start a custom design consultation. Unsure which fits your idea? We’re happy to help.

Do I need a complete design before contacting you?

Not at all. You can start with inspiration photos, a favorite stone, a few styles you love, or simply an occasion you want to celebrate. We’ll help you explore the possibilities and develop a direction that reflects your taste. Knowing what you don’t like can be useful, too.

Who designs and makes my piece?

The W Gallery helps guide your project, working with a jewelry designer or maker suited to the piece you have in mind. The right fit depends on the style, materials, and techniques involved. As we explore your project, we’ll explain who will be creating your piece and how the design process will work.

Can you work with an existing stone or piece of jewelry?

We’re happy to discuss the possibilities. An existing stone or sentimental piece can be a meaningful starting point, but its condition and suitability for a new design need to be evaluated first. Send us a few photos and tell us what you’re imagining. We’ll help determine what may be possible and whether an in-person assessment is needed.

Can we work together remotely?

Start by sending us your ideas, questions, and any inspiration photos through our consultation request form. We can discuss the initial details by email or phone and determine whether your project can be handled remotely. If any steps require an in-person visit, we’ll explain those early in the process.

What happens after I submit a consultation request?

We’ll review your message and follow up to learn more about your ideas, budget, and timing. From there, we’ll discuss whether the project is a good fit and explain the next steps, including any consultation or design fees. Sending an consultation request doesn’t commit you to purchasing a piece.
